1) Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Plouro, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) The Service
Plouro is a backup-first email product that helps you connect Gmail or Outlook, organize emails by sender, filter emails (date range, unread, older emails, size thresholds like > 1MB), and export emails into PDF archives.
You may save backups to Google Drive (your Drive) or download backups locally for offline storage. Plouro may also provide optional features like thread summaries and AI writing assistance.
3) Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Plouro.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4) Connected email access
When you connect Gmail or Outlook, you authorize Plouro to access your mailbox through the provider APIs to perform actions you request (such as reading emails for export, grouping by sender, moving to labels/folders, archiving, or deleting).
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting your email account within Plouro or removing Plouro’s access in your Google/Microsoft account settings.
Important: Plouro cannot guarantee continued access if Google/Microsoft change their APIs, policies, or permissions.
5) Plan limits (accounts, monthly emails, per-export max)
Your plan may include limits such as:
- • Maximum number of connected email accounts
- • Maximum number of emails that can be backed up per month
- • Maximum number of emails that can be included in a single export
Limits (and plan features) may vary by plan and can be updated. Current plan details are shown on the Pricing page or inside the app.
6) Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Plouro. For example, you must not:
- • Use the Service to break the law or violate third-party rights
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- • Upload malware or interfere with the Service’s operation
- • Abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent plan limits
- • Use Plouro to process email accounts you do not own or have permission to access
7) Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). Prices, taxes, and plan details are described on our Pricing page and during checkout.
If a payment fails, we may suspend or restrict access to paid features until payment is completed.
For refund terms, see our Refund Policy.
8) Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
After cancellation, your account may revert to a free plan with free-plan limits.
9) Intellectual property
Plouro and its software, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your emails and content. You also retain ownership of the PDF backups you generate and store in your Google Drive or on your local device.
10) Disclaimers
Plouro is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that exports will meet every specific compliance standard in every jurisdiction.
You are responsible for verifying that exported PDFs meet your requirements (for example: recordkeeping, legal, or audit needs).
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plouro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
12) Termination
You may stop using Plouro at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, or created risk to the Service or other users.
Termination may result in loss of access to features. PDF backups saved in your Google Drive or on your local device remain under your control.
13) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice as required.
